The impact of the war and terror attack at the Nova Music Festival on victims of sexual assault and domestic violence is profound. A donation to Keren Hayesod will help victims to rebuild their lives and recover from their trauma.
Video: all rights reserved  During the morning hours of October 7th, thousands of Hamas terrorists infiltrated the Nova Music Festival as well as Israeli communities bordering Gaza in the south, killing more than 1,200 Israelis and taking more than 240 hostages (133 who are still held captive), including Israeli soldiers, babies, women, children and the elderly.  What began as a celebration of friends, love and infinite freedom ended in devastation, tragedy and trauma for the more than 3,000 festival goers, many of whom lost their lives and/or were kidnapped to Gaza.   A group of young girls in their twenties attended the Nova party. Tragically, some were subjected to sexual assault and murder. Those who survived, including some with physical injuries, were hospitalized. These survivors requested Maslan's discreet treatments, avoiding direct involvement with social services. Maslan provides essential EMDR care, a primary step in helping their minds process and release traumatic memories through guided eye movements.   The Assistance Center for Victims of Sexual Assault and Violence in the Negev "Maslan" offers a personalized holistic package for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence as well as their families, encompassing both physical and mental resilience, alongside intensive emotional care. The vast majority of victims are female. Each person will receive at least one individual and one group therapy session per week as well as the following:  •     A dedicated case manager who provides round-the-clock care and support.  •     Alternative individual and group treatments.  •     Legal support and victim rights enforcement.
