WATER FOR ALL - ALL FOR WATER!
Water is life. Clean drinking water improves and protects people’s health, gives children the possibility of attending school permanently, empowers women, strengthens the local economy and allows for a better future. However, many people worldwide do not have assured access to this precious commodity as well as sanitary and hygiene facilities (WASH):
703 million people worldwide do not have access to basic services of clean drinking water.1,543 billion people don’t even have access to basic sanitary provision.1,953 billion people worldwide do not have assured access to hygiene facilities.We want to change that!We support projects in various Viva con Agua countries and pursue the WASH approach. We support most projects on the African continent. Our focus is on projects in Uganda, Ethiopia, Tanzania and South Africa. We maintain professional and personal relations with these countries and our local partner organizations such as Welthungerhilfe, some of which have existed for many years. Water for all!
Universal Languages Approach: Music, art and sport for clean drinking waterViva con Agua encourages people to get involved through joyful commitment, music, art and sport in the sense of universal languages. Viva con Agua builds bridges between different cultures, societies as well as rural and urban areas. This creates an environment and open awareness in order to tackle challenges together in a solution-oriented way. It strengthens, for example, the sustainable use of water resources in the WASH projects we support. Alle for water!
