First responder service (fire brigade paramedic)

The fire brigade paramedic department of the Glandorf volunteer fire brigade has taken over the first responder service for medical emergencies in order to bridge the time until the arrival of the emergency services.
The current project, which is currently being massively promoted by the support association, is the newly founded fire brigade paramedic unit, which has taken over the first responder service in Glandorf.  The members are deployed to medical emergencies to bridge the time until the ambulance and emergency doctor arrive. The aim is to improve the patient's prognosis by arriving and acting quickly, even in acute and life-threatening situations.  By acting quickly, not only is help provided to the patient immediately and reliably, but a heavy burden is also lifted from the shoulders of the people involved in the situation (e.g. family members). The unit has already been deployed on 24 missions since starting work in mid-December 2024. A tightly planned duty rota system ensures that help is available to citizens 365 days a year. Equipping the service requires greater financial resources, which are mainly financed by donations.  We are currently endeavouring to equip our members with additional emergency clothing. We would be very pleased to receive a donation for this purpose.
